Abstract: Preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) is a modern tool for selecting an embryo with the best potential for further development, which results in an increased likelihood of pregnancy. The clinical interpretation of preimplantation genetic screening data determines recommendations for embryo transfer obtained in an in vitro fertilization protocol (IVF). Incorrect interpretation of the chromosomal status of the embryo can lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the IVF protocol. The purpose of this study was to compare the difference in the interpretation of PGT-A data using NGS and CGH methods by different specialists. Interpretation of the ambiguous data of PGT-A is complex and the role of the human factor is very large. The interpretation of PGT data depends on the expert’s belonging to a particular “school”. Interpretation of chromosomal profiles by another specialist may lead to a change in the clinical fate of the embryo. One and the same specialist may have a different opinion regarding a sample that is difficult to interpret when re-interpreting it.
